Rock The Blocks

In RTB you destroy the opposing blocks to complete the level while moving up and down and shooting to defend your own blocks.

Controls:

W and S will move you up and down while clicking the mouse fires a shot. Press and hold for rapid fire and aim by moving your mouse. 

Development:

I wanted to work on a project that could be completed in a couple weeks and look really nice without a lot of artwork being made. So I started building this game using https://flatuicolors.com/, the standard Unity unlit materials, and the orthographic camera at a fixed resolution specifically for itch.io browser play.

It was really fun to be able to design around a specific pixel resolution and not support multiple screen sizes and responsive menu items.

I hope you enjoy this game, created on the fumes left over each evening after work.
